About Nintendo DSi

When you’re buying a video game player, you’re buying something that can play games. The Nintendo DSi, however, is much more than just a video game player. The Nintedo DSi has a lot of features that the original handheld video game system that Nintendo has made never even dreamed of having, including the ability to play music.

Playing Music

When you buy the DSi, you may not realize that you’re getting the ability to take advantage of the Nintendo DSi full music playback feature. This feature does much like it sounds it does – it allows you to play music back through your DSi. There are lots of things that you can do with the Nintendo DSi full music playback that you can’t do with any other MP3 player, thanks to the unique design of the DSi.

The Sound

While the speakers have been upgraded and do sound much better than the DS Lite speakers sound, we found that it sounds better when you play it through the headphones, but that’s the same thing that you would get if you were playing any MP3 player, so that’s nothing unusual. There aren’t many ways that you can change the base and the treble, but there are so many other things you can do with the Nintendo DSi that it doesn’t really make much of a difference.

The Fun Stuff

Unlike with an MP3 player, the DSi allows you to truly play with your music. You can use the stylus to use the sound function. The sound function allows you to play with the music in a number of ways, including switching he pitch and the speed. You can make your favorite song sound like it was sung by the Chipmunks or like it was sung by a bunch of ogres, depending on how you play with it, making it a really fun toy to play with at parties and by teenagers as well.

The Nintendo DSi full music playback gets even better, however. Because the Nintendo DSi has a microphone, you can use the microphone with the DSi in order to record you, or your friends, saying things. You can then use the sound function to change the sound of the voice you recorded. You can even play things backwards to see if they really have a hidden meaning to them, or you can put your words backwards to see how they sound.

The Nintendo DSi has a lot of great features that go along with it, but we love the fact that you can not only listen to music, but that you can mess around with it as well. When you buy the DSi, try spending some time playing with the full playback feature. You can save anything you’ve created on an SD card so that you can share it with your friends as well.
