I am on this website to look for the price on the Nintendo DSi so I can tell my mom about it. Whenever I make my Christmas list she always makes me look up what I want on the internet so that I know how much it costs and that way I won’t ask for anything that is too expensive. I just read a review that says the DSi will play all the games I have for my regular DS. I hope that she will go along with a new game system for Christmas because she won’t have to buy me all new games too so she can save some money. I just want to get the DSi because the regular DS doesn’t have very much light and it makes it really hard to see the game I’m playing. I got the regular one for Christmas a few years ago from my grandmother, but it doesn’t work very well. But I never told her that because she would be sad.

I need to find out where to buy Nintendo DSi too so that she doesn’t have to spend any time looking. She works two jobs so she is really busy and right now I’m at my aunt’s house until Mom gets off work. She has an Xbox over here and I like to play that but I know mom can’t afford to buy one of those. So I hope that she’ll be able to afford to get one instead because it is smaller so it has to be cheaper. If I get my own game system, especially a portable one like the system, then I can just go hang out in the kitchen and play my own game and then I don’t have to play with my cousin because he is 17 and he doesn’t always play nice on the Xbox.

Another reason I want mom to buy DSi for me is that it has the internet so I can play games with other people in other states. That would be too awesome and maybe I would meet some nice kids to play games with. Plus they have a store online in the DSi that I can go to download games and some of them are even free, so that I can get new stuff for it without having to ask mom to buy it for me too. I bet mom will like that. She always likes it when she doesn’t have to pay a bunch of money for stuff. That’s why we get our clothes from the thrift store whenever we can. Sometimes we have to go shop at the regular store when the thrift store doesn’t have what we want or what we need, but we always check at the thrift store first. Mom loves to save money. I really hope I can talk her into wanting to buy a Nintendo DSi for me for Christmas so that I can play games with light and be able to see them.

I waited months and months to buy this game system. I thought that I’d never get the DSi, and when I finally got the chance to buy it, they were out of stock! Ack! But finally, after months and months of waiting, I was able to get my hands on one. Wow. I still can’t believe how awesome the Nintendo DSi system is.

When I first knew I was going to buy Nintendo DSi, I saved up my allowance and did some extra babysitting jobs so that I could get it. My mom said she wouldn’t buy it for me, so I knew it was up to me to find the money to get it. I’m really, really glad that I saved up the money.

I only have one game right now, but it’s an awesome game. And besides, you can do tons with it even if you only buy a DSi and not any other games! The first thing I did, after getting it all charged up and everything, was to check out the camera. I don’t have my own digital yet and my mom won’t let me have hers very often, so I wanted to see if it would take good pictures. The pictures look fine to me! I was able to use the DSi to take pics of my sister and to do fun things with the pics with the DSi pen. I haven’t tried to print out a picture yet, so I’m not sure how big it will be, but I’m hoping it looks good!

The next thing I did was try to listen to music. I needed a bit of help to figure out how to use the SD card to import music, but once I got it on there I plugged in the headphones and listened to my favorite songs without anyone bugging me. You can get one with headphones, or you can use any headphones that you have. I like the ones I have, so I use those.

When I was looking for where to buy Nintendo DSi, I found out that you can get a pedometer with it. I don’t think I’ll want one, even though it would be kind of neat, but my mom has said she’d like one, so I think I’ll save up and get her the pedometer to use with my game system.

All in all, I’m really glad that I bought the system, and from reading other reviews I see that everyone else is happy about it as well. The next thing I need to do is to try it online to see how it works and to see if I can find anyone playing any other games. Maybe I’ll get someone from Japan! Who knows! Anyway, it’s a great system, and I can’t wait to get more games for it.

But I do. I never thought I’d touch a computer, but my granddaughter bought me one for Christmas one year and then showed me how to use it. Now I can send her emails and it’s quicker than mail and cheaper than a phone call. Then she bought me a DS Lite and a few brain games and some puzzle games. Now I play it all the time. I can’t remember the last time I sat at my kitchen table and played solitaire with my old worn out deck of cards. But now I hear all of this buzzing about the new Nintendo DSi, and I’m pretty sure I’d like to get one.

I’ve been hearing quite a bit about the new system, and I’ve logged on to the internet to read some of the reviews that people are writing. The one thing that has me sold the most on this new DSi is the bigger screen size. I love to play the DS, but I could certainly use bigger screens so that I can see it just a bit better. These old eyes just don’t work like they used to, and bigger is always better when it comes to anything I have to look at for a long time. The review I read gave a percentage of how much bigger the screen is on the new Nintendo system, but I don’t remember what it said. Noticeably bigger is all I remember, and that’s enough for me. I sure don’t like to squint. It gives me a headache. So that is the main reason why I think I’d like to buy Nintendo DSi.

Another reason is that I don’t have a digital camera, and I think I’d like to have one of those too. It would be a pretty quick way to send pictures to the great grandkids. They have computers too. I could send them pictures by email. I think they would really like it if I sent them pictures every morning of the squirrels in my front yard. I’ve got a whole family of squirrels living in the trees in my front yard, and they kids just love to watch them when they come down for visits. They have even named them, although I don’t know if they know which is which. I have a squirrel feeder on the tree right in front of my big window in the living room, and those little critters will come down every morning and get their fill of that corn. I think it would be good to buy a DSi just so I can take pictures of those little guys and send them to the grandkids to let them know what the critters are up to.

Now what I need to do is find out where to buy Nintendo DSi so that I can get one. From what I’ve been reading, it will be next year before I can get one, but I’ll sure get it as soon as it comes out. I’ll be happy to get one.

The one reason I really want to buy Nintendo DSi is the internet part. My DS Lite will let me do a couple things, like uplinking with other DS Lite players as long as they are really close, and the chat part that I can use to basically instant message with my friend who lives next door after I’m supposed to be asleep. The DSi is totally going to take that to the next level- full internet access, man! I’ll be able to play with people all over the world now, just like with the Wii. If I knew where to buy DSi right now, I’d be down there in a wink to get mine. Especially since all the games that I have now for my Lite are going to work in the DSi. What will be really good is if they have a whole bunch of new games that are games- imagine what they can do with games that are intended to be played on the internet. It’s like the best parts of the DS and the PC gaming sites all in one little box that I can carry in my pocket. The reviews I’ve read are all really great and they make me want to get one right now.

I was really thinking about getting my gramps one of the games too- I think he’ll like it if I get one for him to play with. He’s just got moved into a nursing home, and my gram is gone, so he has to spend quite a bit of time in that place. I go to see him three or four times a week, but that’s really not enough to keep him from getting all bored and depressed. I think it will work really well for him because the screens are supposed to be quite a bit bigger. He still sees ok, but it would just be that much easier for him to play it with the bigger screens. I have seen the commercials about the brain games that are supposed to keep your brain working and keep you sharp- he might like one of those, but I was also thinking of getting him one of those virtual pets like a dog.

The internet part is the big reason why I’d want to get one for my gramps, because we could play games together and that would be great. That way when I can’t get there to see him, we can still sort of hang out. I really think it would be easy for him to use as soon as I show him how. He hasn’t had much experience with electronics, but the Nintendo games are pretty user friendly. I guess if I get him a Nintendo DSi system, I’ll probably have to do the downloading games and stuff at my house because they don’t have any computers at the home for the folks to use. That’s no problem though; I’d do anything for my gramps.

I’m a single dad with three boys, a ten year old and twin eight year olds. We live out in the country on a rather large ranch so there is a lot to do outside when the weather is good, but up here in northern Kansas the weather is unpleasant more often than not. Whether it is raining, too windy, too cold or too hot, indoor entertainment is a necessity. We have two game systems on separate televisions and my oldest boy has a Nintendo DS Lite so they can all play games at the same time but it seems that the DS Lite is the only one they want to play with. I have learned the hard way that if one boy wants something that I might as well get three of them. Now my oldest son wants a digital camera and a MP3 music player and the twins are asking for systems of their own. I came across the Nintendo DSi while I was trying to figure out how I was going to get my boys what they want and not go broke doing it.

The DSi has two camera lenses so it can be used as a digital camera and will play MP3 files so it can be used as a music player. They all like those sorts of little electric do-dads, so if I buy Nintendo DSi for all three of my boys everybody gets what they want, there will be no fighting and I will not break the bank doing it. Another nice thing about the new system is that it can go on the internet. The kids can play with folks from all around the world on their little game systems. The system also can access the internet to download games from the website so if we cannot make it to town, where to buy Nintendo DSi games is not a problem because we can do it from the living room.

I was thinking too that they should be able to play the same games together because the reviews I’ve been reading say that the DSi has an internet mode so that you can play games with other people who have a DSi. That ought to be pretty handy, that they can all be in different places all over the house and still be able to play the same game together. We will have to wait until late April or March 2009 to buy a DSi here in the United States but the wait will be worth it. I read in the little book that came with the DS Lite that they can all get together and play the same game with that one, but that doesn’t do me much good because there’s only one of those in the house. I think that once each of the boys has a DSi, that there won’t be any bickering anymore, so it’ll be nice to have some peace and quiet. Too bad they don’t sell a three pack so I can buy DSi for the whole bunch of them at one whack. It would probably cost the same as three separate ones anyway.

I just love my new game system so much that I had to get on here and type up a review for everybody to read who is thinking about getting one. I have had some of the other portable game systems, and I think this is the best one yet! It has so much cool stuff that you don’t have to have a separate camera or MP3 player, you can just do it all with the Nintendo DSi. Plus, there is the internet on it that lets you go to the DSi shop and download games. This is just the best system ever! I have been telling everybody who will listen about this, because I think that everybody could like it. Even my teachers, but they aren’t too interested in games. They probably think I’m playing it in class which I don’t. I’d get into trouble for that.

I got the New Super Mario Brothers game to go with it, and also the Nintendogs game (I got a Chihuahua) and both of those games are so fun! They are just regular DS games, which work with the DSi. Except for the ones online, I haven’t seen any just straight DSi games yet, although I’ll bet online will always be where to buy Nintendo DSi games. Seems like it would be easier for the game makers and for the customers to just keep it that way. And I bet it would be better for the environment too to have games that don’t have to be packaged and then shipped to stores. I wonder if anybody has thought about that. Nintendo DSi system is good for the environment! I can see the headlines now.

I just wanted to tell everybody that if you do decide to buy Nintendo DSi, be sure to get one of those SD memory cards with it so you can use the digital camera part. It’s always nice to carry around a little game that you can use for more than one thing- like the DSi is a game system and a camera and a music player and a internet ready game shop and hang out spot all in one shiny little device. I really can’t tell you how great having this game has been. I can try, but I don’t think I can express just how great it has been having one. I’m really glad I decided to purchase a DSi instead of one of the other options. This game system just has so much more neat stuff on it. I really like playing any of the Mario type games, but I really love the Nintedogs. The neatest thing that I didn’t know when I went to buy DSi was that there is a built in microphone that let me talk to me dog, and he can hear me and respond performing actions like sit and even roll over. I am such a big fan of the DSi and all the DS games too.

The DSi is the only toy my son plays with.

My son is twelve, and he always sees the commercials on TV for remote control airplanes and different cars, and all sorts of boy type toys. When he was younger, he used to have fun with those. And sometimes, we get him one and it invariably breaks within days. They just don’t make toys like they used to- for that matter they don’t make anything like they used to. But when we decided to buy Nintendo DSi for him, we didn’t think that it would be the best and favorite toy in his whole room. None of his other toys even get played with anymore, and he’s actually been giving some of them away to charity. Now, instead of buying him toys, we can just go out and buy DSi games for him, or we let him download them off the online DSi shop right from his DSi. It’s nice to be able to download games because if there’s a game he wants to play, we don’t have to hunt around and figure out where to get the games for him. He can just go online with the DSi’s internet feature and pick out the ones he wants. There are tons of DS games in the store, and a lot of them have gotten cheaper since the DSi games started coming out, but the old DS games work just fine and he has a blast. He’s really quiet a lot of the time, just sitting in his room and playing games. He don’t mind that at all, but sometimes we have to make him put it down and go outside just to get some sunshine and run around for a while. Ever since we decided to buy Nintendo DSi for him, he hasn’t been bored even once that he’s told us about, and that’s a good thing.

The system is more than just a game system and an online game store. It also has a digital camera, a fact I learned by having my son snap a surprise picture of me while I was washing dishes. It also has a music player, so he can listen to music and the speakers work pretty well for that. It actually sounds like music, unlike some other small devices with external speakers- sometimes on those little hand held devices the sound quality is kind of crummy. We are really pleased with how well built the DSi is, too. I don’t know how many times I’ve seen him drop that thing. Every time he does it, I just cringe, thinking “Great, now we’ll have to buy him a new one”, but it always keeps working. That’s a pretty tough toy. I mean, I’m sure it wouldn’t fare too well if a person were to say, run over it with a car, but for the everyday drops and bangs that kids are likely to subject their kids to, if stands up pretty well. So that’s the end of my review, and I’d have to say to parents who are thinking about buying one, go ahead and do it. You won’t be sorry.

My son has been begging for us to buy a DSi for weeks, and what he doesn’t know is that we’ve got one hidden in the closet for his birthday, which is a few months away, but we have avoided giving it to him yet. That doesn’t mean, however, that we haven’t tried it yet. Whenever we buy something online, we always test it out to make sure that it works, and now that we have, it’s kind of hard to put it back!

When we opened the package, we charged up the DSi and got it running. It was really easy to start and run, which is nice because our son is only 7 and I like knowing that he’s not going to need me over his shoulder helping him learn how to run it. He may need some help getting on the DSi Store, but I don’t plan on telling him about that just yet.

We took some pictures of ourselves with an SD card in, and then promptly deleted them. But before we did, we had some fun changing the pictures and making them look silly. I was actually surprised that you could make them look really great with the program that is on the DSi, and we actually were able to make the pictures look good. We didn’t print any, so I’m not sure what they’d look like printed, but for a seven year old, on the screen is good enough!

When you buy Nintendo DSi, you only get the system, so we bought him a game too. Unfortunately I couldn’t figure out how to open the game in a way that he wouldn’t know we’d gotten into it, so I haven’t tried to play any games on it other than the notepad thing we downloaded from the DSi Store, so I’m not sure how the games will play, but the reviews we’ve read say that they will run much faster than on the DS. Not that he needs something really fast, but if you’re going to be playing a video game, why not play one that goes fast, right?

I love how it looks, but I’m worried that it will break if it’s dropped, so we’re going to look into getting some sort of strap or some sort of case for it before we give it to him. I’m sure, knowing Nintendo, that they’ll make something to help protect it, and we can likely find it in the same place you can go to when you’re looking for where to buy Nintendo DSi.

The system seems like a great one, and I can’t wait for his birthday now too, just so we can open the game and give it a good round to see how it works. I’m glad Nintendo makes kid friendly games too, so I don’t have to worry that he’s playing games that have lots of blood and gore in them.

I am 9 years old and I love to do lots of stuff outside. I ride horses and play soccer and do a lot of different sports. I do not usually play video games. My mom and dad got divorced a few years ago and I spend half the time with my mom and half the time with my dad. They live about two hours apart, so my mom and dad have to take turns driving me back and forth. It gets really boring.

My dad went out to get one for me when he heard about it so that I wouldn’t be bored when he has to drive me to my moms house. I did not know how to use it at first. It was really weird. I never played a DS before, even though my best friend has one, so it took me a while to get used to it.

My dad helped me figure it out. We read the instruction book and the reviews to see what it could do. The first thing I figured out how to use was the camera. The first time after my dad had gone to buy the Nintendo DSi and we had to go to moms house I took tons of pictures and made faces and stuff on them on the DSi.

At my moms house we learned more about what it could do and figured out that the Nintendo DSi system could go online. It doesn’t go very fast, and I can’t use it in the car, but it’s kinda neat to be able to check my email from my dad when I’m at my moms on the DSi.

My mom took me out to buy some new games and I found a great horse game that I love. You can use the little pen to get the horse to go where you want it to and you can do tons of other stuff with it. I played that on the way home for over an hour and wanted to play more.

I know that a lot of my friends want to buy Nintendo DSi, but they don’t know where to find it. I hope they find one. My mom and my dad and I have all had fun playing with it and downloading stuff from the DSi store. We play puzzle games and all sorts of stuff. I can even make little animations on the moving notepad thing. I’m really glad my dad bought me the DSi so that I can play it in the car, and I play it when I’m not in the car too, just for fun. It’s a really great machine!

Sign me up for the DSi please!

I’m pretty excited about the coming release of the Nintendo DSi system. I’ve read quite a bit about it, and I don’t think I’ll be able to get one until at least after the summer of 2009, unless I want to go to Europe in April and buy one- that would be a pretty expensive game. But I’ve been reading all about it and it seems like it will certainly be worth lining up to get one. One of the Nintendo DSi reviews I read said that the screens were quite a bit bigger than the ones on the DS Lite, which is cool because I always thought they needed to be bigger. On the DS Lite, you can’t move that stylus very far at one time because the screens are so tiny. I guess they’re ok for most games, and of course I’ve gotten used to it because I’ve had my Lite ever since they first went on sale- I’m pretty sure I was one of the first. I plan to be one of the first in my circle to have a Nintendo DSi too. By the time my friends end up getting one, I’ll be able to tell them all about how to use it. I’m actually saving up right now so that as soon as it is released for sale in the stores and online, I’ll already have the money waiting so I can buy Nintendo DSi right away. I’ll have to keep my DS Lite so I can keep playing my Guitar Hero game, but that’s ok. This way I can leave the attachments on the Lite so that it’s ready whenever I want to play Guitar Hero and then I’ll have the DSi to play all my other games.

One thing that makes me really want to buy Nintendo DSi is that it has the external memory with the SD memory card slot. I can download games off the DSi store and be able to save them and all my game data to the SD card. I love that the external memory means that I won’t run out of room and have to delete anything. That will come in really handy. Plus with the internet DSi store, I won’t have to figure out where to buy Nintendo DSi games that are hard to find. Sometimes when you have to find the actual game cartridge, you have to really look for it if you want it today, or else you have to order it online and then wait for it to get to your house. I just don’t have that much patience. I think that it will be really nice to be able to just open my DSi, use the internet feature to get online, and go to the DSi store to buy Nintendo DSi games and download them right into the DSi. That’s a really great change over the DS Lite and I’m glad they came up with it. I’m counting the days until I can get one.
