Coming home is wonderful. What makes it even better is that in some respects it seems like I never left. That’s because I have found a way to keep in touch with my family and enjoy playing games we all love even though we are not together.
I decided to buy Nintendo dsi for myself the day I moved out. I also bought one for my family to have at their house. I was moving about 600 miles away, and I was so afraid that we would grow apart. After about a week, my parents went out and bought two more systems. Now, between them and my siblings, more than a couple can play at a time.
I have to say that the best thing that has come from me investing in this game system is that it has given my family and I a way to keep in touch, have fun with each other, and share things that would otherwise be hard to share.
When I got my family the system that I bought, I really didn’t think that my parents would be that into it. To my surprise, they seem to like it as much as the kids do. Since then my interest in how others use it and like it has increased. I enjoy reading Nintendo dsi reviews and finding out how it has helped others.
In a way, that’s why I wanted to write about my own experience. I thought maybe what I have used it for may help other people to get ideas about different ways to remain close to family, even when you are far away from each other.
When I asked my mom and dad what they like best about this system, they gave me two different answers. Mom said that she likes the interactive camera. She’s always sending me pictures from her cell phone, but the different lenses make it more fun for her. Dad says he likes the chat features better than anything else. I didn’t ask, but I think my siblings just like challenging me to a game or two.
Now that we have this system to share, adjusting to the fact that I’ve left home has been much easier. Of course my siblings use it to play with some of their friends too, but they also give me some of their time. We are all making plans to have a family play off, which I am really looking forward to. Along with my family, I am gaming more than ever.
