Buy Nintendo DSi

I am in nursing school and have finally found something that is both relaxing and fun for me in my down time. I have to study and memorize so much, that when I try to relax and have fun, my mind wanders back to the vocabulary and the procedures I am currently studying.

I had heard that if you have a good diversion from the norm, it can help you remember the things you need to learn at a higher level, so I decided to buy Nintendo DSI for myself. I first heard about this console from my best friend’s little sister. I was visiting them during Spring Break, and she brought hers to show me.

My friend and I tried it out, and I really liked it. Then she showed us how it can be interactive with someone who is far away. She played a game with a friend in another state while we watched. We all took silly pictures with the cameras, yes, there are two of them, and sent them to her friend. We had a blast.

When I got back to my nursing school, I began to get frustrated about not being able to find something to distract me enough to help me relax when I wasn’t studying. My friend reminded me about her sister’s system and how much fun it had been. We then made a midnight run to a local store that has a great electronics department.

My friend and I made a snap decision to each buy Nintendo DSI. I know that I will have to discipline myself not to use it sometimes, but the reason I bought it was so that I could have something fun to do for a few minutes when I need a break from all the memorization and studying. The fact that my friend has one makes it easier and more fun for me.

Since then, my younger brother and sister have both bought their own systems, so there is almost always someone I can play with. Even when nobody is available I can still have fun playing by myself. I am so happy with this console, I finally found the thing that keeps me sane during my crazier moments.

I never would have thought that I would get into gaming, but this has become a great distraction from the rigors of nursing school, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Being a nurse will be even more rewarding when I can keep things in balance by relaxing with a console like this.
