I wonder why they are taking so long to release the Nintendo DSi in America. I mean, they have already released it in Japan, and they are going to release it in Europe in the Spring, but they are saying that America won’t get the DSi until late next year. That’s a long time, that’s like a year after Japan gets theirs. No fair. Anyhow, ever since I heard that it Nintendo is coming out with the new Nintendo DSi system, I get bummed out every time I even play with my DS Lite. I totally can’t get on the internet with my Lite, so I can’t play with people in other states and I can’t download cool games either. I have to go all the way to the store and buy new games. And plus I can’t take any pictures with my Lite, and the Nintendo DSi review I just read said that there are two cameras on the DSi, so I think that means that there will be like a webcam mode where you can even talk to other people face to face on the web. That would be awesome. Plus there is a memory slot for external SD memory so I can expand the memory as much as I want and that is way cooler than the internal only memory with the Lite.
I heard to that they are making the screens bigger and making the speakers better- which makes me that much more bummed about the sound quality on my DS Lite. I want to just run out and buy Nintendo DSi right now but of course I can’t. I don’t even care that it’s not backwards compatible with my GBA games because I will be able to listen to music files on the DSi, which of course I can’t do with my Lite. I’m bummed. I totally loved my Lite before I heard about this new one. It’s like seeing an awesome movie advertisement and missing it in the theater and then having to wait a year before it comes out on video. I hate to wait. When it comes out though I know just where to buy Nintendo DSi because I already have a favorite store when I buy all my games. I even have a discount card because gaming is my life and it makes me happy, but I don’t know if my discount card will work for a brand new game system. I guess I’ll find out when I buy Nintendo DSi and I’ll buy it whether they give me a discount or not.
I know that my old DS games will work with the new DSi but I bet I’ll end up buying some all new games that are only DSi games because I’m sure they will have them. They’ll probably have games just for internet gaming through the DSi, so that will be cool. I’m so going to buy Nintendo DSi the very first day it comes out and I can’t wait for that day.
