Great for the Grandkids!
I decided to buy Nintendo DSi for my grandchildren for Christmas, and they could not have been happier. I got them some games too, and since I have five grandchildren, Christmas was pretty expensive this year. But it was totally worth it to see how much fun they had on Christmas morning. When they got that wrapping paper off and saw that it was Nintendo DSi, they started yelling and jumping around, showing the boxes to their parents and they came over and gave us great big hugs. We haven’t gotten that kind of reaction from a Christmas gift since, I can’t even remember ever getting that kind of reaction. I am so glad we decided to buy Nintendo Dsi for them.
Since they don’t live near here, I can’t wait to see how well the Nintendo DSi system digital camera feature works to keep me in new pictures of them. They were having quite a bit of fun taking goofy posed pictures of each other, but I told my oldest grandson that I wanted a picture of his car as soon as he gets it. I told my youngest granddaughter that I expect a picture of her with any guy she goes on a date with, and I told my youngest grandson that I want him to send me pictures of every cool little bug and weird thing he finds while he’s exploring outside. He’s a science nut, and he like to try to find new bugs he’s never seen before. I never thought when I decided to buy Nintendo DSi for the grandkids that they’d be able to use it to send me pictures too. That’s really great. What a great idea for a video game.
The kids really liked the games we bought, and they said that they already know where to buy Nintendo DSi games on the internet. And they said that they can even download them directly into the DSi because there is an online store inside the video game. I remember when the coolest video game in the world was a pinball machine. These little game systems are amazing. They can take them along in the car whenever they come to visit me, or they can take them anywhere else they go.
The whole reason I found out about this great little game was by reading a Nintendo DSi review on the internet while I was shopping, trying to find out what would be the best present. I like to try to get all the kids presents that are as similar as possible, just because that’s the way I’ve always done it. With little kids, if one has something, they all want it- and there has been some fighting and hurt feelings in the past because one kid got something that they had all seen on TV and the other kids got something else. No more. With the DSi, I was able to just get them all the same thing, and they were all very happy with their gifts. Too bad Christmas isn’t this easy every year!
