Buy Nintendo DSi

Alright, just to get this out of the way, I am a thirty two year old woman and I am hooked on my DS Lite.  And yes, I am going to go out and buy Nintendo DSi when it comes out, but not for the reasons some other people are buying it.

I only play one game on my DS right now.  That one game is Mario Party.  I am so hooked on that game!  It is so much fun, and I love Yoshi because he is so cute!  I saw the game when my nephew was playing it on his Nintendo 64, and I just had to have it.  But I’m never at home to play a game system on the TV.  Like right now, I am at the airport, typing up this review on my laptop and drinking really nasty burnt coffee at one of the nameless restaurants here.  Yes, you can burn coffee.  Enough about coffee, I was talking about why I want to buy a Nintendo DSi.  I don’t really need the internet capability, because I have my laptop and I have no desire to play games with anyone else, whether I know them or not.  The reason I want to get one is that it has all the extra features that will mean I only have one little contraption to carry around with me when I travel.  Like right now, I have my digital camera in one case that takes up quite a bit of room in my suitcase, then I have my MP3 player which, granted, doesn’t take up that much room, but it’s another thingamajig I have to carry.  And then there is my DS, which I never travel without.  But when I get a Nintendo DSi system, I won’t have to carry all that.  The reason for that is that the DSi has it all.  It has a built in digital camera that uses the same type of SD memory card that my current digital camera uses, and so there is the camera problem taken care of.  It also has a music player that will let me download songs and play them through the same ear buds that I use with my MP3 player.  So there is the music player- gone.  The second I find out where to buy DSi, I am going to buy one and stop carrying those other two devices with me everywhere.  I will just be able to tuck my nifty little Nintendo DSi and the charger into the front pocket of my laptop bag and have all my indispensible electronics in one handy place.  I really can’t wait.  I love to travel as light as I possibly can, and with this handy little portable three in one game system, I’ll be able to travel even lighter than I do right now.  That is a huge selling point for me, because I’ll have more room in my luggage.  Maybe I’ll even be able to travel with only carryon!  Wouldn’t that be sweet?
