I’ve owned a DS for almost a year now and I really like it. I bring it with me to school some times and I play it on the bus when I have to go to my grandmother’s house. A lot of the other kids on the bus say that they want a DS too, but now I want to buy Nintendo DSi and I will probably give one of them my DS.
I like my DS, but it’s old, and the DSi system is going to be brand new! What is really neat about it is that it looks so much like the DS but it’s so different. The screen is a lot bigger, which is really cool, and I can’t wait to be able to play it on the bus so that my friends all see it. I know that it’s backlit a lot more than the DS was, which is really nice because with the DS sometimes I couldn’t really see what I was playing if I was on the bus and we were going under a bridge or through a tunnel. Now with the DSi, I’ll be able to see everything all the time, so I’ll be even better at my games!
My mom said that she doesn’t think that when you buy the DSi you are able to play your DS games on it. I guess that’s okay. I mean, I’d like to play my DS games on the new system, but if I can’t, I can’t – I’ll just get new games!
You even get a camera when you buy a Nintendo DSi. I have a little digital camera my dad gave me for Christmas last year, but it’s kind of annoying to carry around. I brought it to school two times, but both times I got it taken away because my friends kept grabbing it and taking pictures of everyone with it. The Nintendo DSi reviews say that lots of people take pictures with the DSi without other people knowing they’re taking pictures, so I will be able to trick my teacher. Or maybe I’ll just take pictures of my friend’s when I’m on the bus.
I know that I probably won’t get the DSi when it first comes out, because we live in a really small town and my mom doesn’t know where to buy the Nintendo DSi right off. She talked about looking for it online and that’s probably where we’ll end up getting it. I hate that I have to wait for it, because I’m really excited to try it out, and my friends are already trying to get me to give them my DS. Wait until they see the DSi! It looks so much like the DS that they probably won’t notice a difference. But maybe they will. I just know that I can’t wait to get it!
